Wedding Players: Five Hints before You Book

Staging for live wedding music is just one of about a hundredchores facing couples and wedding planners. Between flowers, photographers, locales, gowns, parties, rings, video, and more, even a moderate and quiet wedding takes a extraordinary amount of planning. It can be a trying time because if even one of these areas falls through the cracks, your big day can end up being a huge disappointment.

Here are five tips to hiring live wedding music players for your ceremony and reception:

1. Be sure you rent a band with a verified track record of professionalism. Does the managing director return your phone calls promptly? Does the band have a web site? Business cards? Other promotional materials? Or do you get the feeling you’re talking to a guy practicing in his garage with his buddies? The way the band presents itself as you begin talking with them is a great indicator of how they’ll show up (or not!) on your wedding day.

2. Promptness is important. When you set an appointment to connect in person or on the phone, it’s like a mini-contract. If the band director is tardy to meet with you, it’s a discouraging sign that they don’t take their agreements earnestly. If they can’t come through on time in the planning stage, what other arrangements will they abandon with you on your wedding day? This extends on to you, too - being prompt is just one way you can live a life that shows that you abide by your commitments.

3. Make sure the band is easy-going rather than being a bunch of prima donnas. By now you’ve likely heard a dozen Bridezilla stories, even if you’re not exacting or extreme. Imagine hiring the equal in craziness for your wedding dance band. The last thing you want on your wedding day is to have to wait on your musicians hand and foot, bringing them food and drink, having the thermostat adjusted for them, or catering to other exacting needs. The greatest band for you is one that can take care of itself, one that’s easy to get along with, and one that does all it can to make sure your day is effortless and fun for you.

4. Hire a wedding band that’s fun. Getting married is one of the deepest choices you’ll ever make. It’s serious business. The music on your wedding day should be beautiful and fun. You don’t want to see your guests inattentive, groggy, and wishing the party was all over. You want them up, dancing, singing, and glad. If you select a live wedding music band well, your selection will do a good deal to make your wedding day memorable in a great way. This is the big day you’ve been ready for, and music is such a essential part of it. Be sure you employ a band that makes the day perfect - pleasurable for you and your invitees.

Online Dating Illusions and Disappointment

Online dating is sometimes connected with illusions, broken hearts, and disappointment. Indeed this disappointment can have two sources.

The first one is proper online dating service. Far not all of them are of high quality and value their clients as they advertise it. This refers to both free and chargeable services. So, what can make people feel disappointed about the quality of online dating service? It could be anything starting from poorly developed online forms to online chat that doesn’t work properly. Some ads announce that you can find thousands of excellent online personals; instead you get wide choice of personals that have been long invalid.

The second and often the main source of disappointment is people who use online dating services. It happens both in real and online relationships. Frauds and scammers are everywhere, and the quality of online dating services has nothing to do with this - it’s all about people.

A lot of people apply for online dating services when they already have negative experience in developing relationships in real life. For this reason they search something new and different on the web. And they relax their vigilance, which can be a huge mistake and a reason for new disappointment.

Discover Best Friend Gifts and Refresh Your Friendship

Have you ever thought about how to find best friend gift ideas and restore or recharge your fellowship? It is just about that time again, time for the holidays. Pals are not always best friends and as much as you show them that they matter, on occasion it really helps to give a unique best friend gift to your object of friendship just to proclaim, “You are worth a little extra.”
Do you ever need to have your fuel cells “renewed”, or you may need a jolt to your self-confidence. You might be facing a very scary situation–like turning another year or two older with a BIG zero behind the digit–and need a steady and solid presence.

How about having a totally attentive ear to vent your troubles to and get answers, but only if it is requested. On a more enjoyable note, you may want to take a spontaneous trip to the unknown with intelligent conversation, watching the birds and catching up on the day. Wouldn’t it be fantastic to find–and then hold on to–a beautiful mind, the one that fits these needs, plus much more!

If you had your second cup of coffee, we’re talking about best friends! It is all so important to recognize and cherish one of the best unique gifts on our earth–best friends! They are truly invaluable and can save you literally hundreds of dollars in doctor’s bills. Once identified, this person can serve as “consultant” on everything from children, spouses, religion and social issues.

Now, it is also important to realize that these best friends are a great fortune and resource, and not to be taken for naught. You have a responsibility to guard and protect them.

Make sure to value not only their efforts, but also their point of view when you ask for their opinion. Treat your best friends like the worthy endeavor they are, and guarantee their safety. After all, it’s difficult enough to find and keep good friends–much less best friends.

Finding a great best friend gift is always a great notion. Best friends are fantastic to confide with during a life-stressor. Just a phone call away your best friend is an outstanding resource to call upon. It is like they say, “A best friend does not get you out of the slammer, they are sitting on the bench in the cell next to you.” Click Here for all your “unique best friend gifts”.

Learning How to Lower Wedding Favors Costs

Wedding couples fear that the cost of their wedding will not be within their budget. That couple has taken the first step in knowing how to reduce wedding favors costs. By following these steps, wedding couples can reduce wedding cost immensely and enjoy their wedding day knowing that all of their festivities were well planned.

Determine the Number of People to Invite. Keep your guest list as low as possible, and keep track of how many people firmly decline the invitation. Invite other people that you might have had to omit due to space limitations.

Design the Wedding Invitations Yourself. Visit an arts and crafts store or hobby shop and see the large variety of scrapbook papers, envelopes and peel off labels that are specifically made for weddings. With a little creativity, a computer, and possibly a local print shop, you can create low-cost, and attractive wedding invitations at half the cost of purchasing them from a dealer.

Choose a Wedding Reception Location that is close to the church. This will allow guests to arrive shortly after the wedding ceremony, and quite possibly, they may want to leave earlier. Plan reception activities early on, and leave the rest of the time dedicated to mingling and dancing. When renting the reception hall, pay attention to the air conditioning system at each location. Ensure there is ample parking at the location that you choose.

Choosing the Perfect Wedding Gown

Selecting a wedding gown is possibly one of the most exciting things for a bride to do. It’s one of the most fun aspects of preparing your wedding. Regardless of whether you know what kind of gown you want or not, it is a dress you will remember for the rest of your life. So with this in mind, it’s one part of your wedding you do not want to wait until the last minute to plan. Here are some tips to help get your gown-search started!

It’s likely that your gown will take about 4-6 months to arrive after you’ve ordered it. So start looking for the perfect gown EARLY! You’ll want to order it as soon as possible so you can have ample time for fittings and alterations well before the BIG DAY. Don’t under-estimate how long it might take to find the gown for you. All those fittings will take time.

When it comes to your gown budget, make sure that you take into consideration things such as the headpiece/veil, shoes, gloves, jewelry, undergarments, and other accessories.

Gowns don’t look the same on the hangar as they do on you! So try on several gowns. You might find that a gorgeous gown on the hanger might not flatter your figure as you’d hoped. Never choose a gown without trying it on!

Do not be afraid to ask questions to the bridal shop staff. They are there to help, and more than likely, they’ve sold hundreds of wedding dresses to women like you. In addition, when you speak with the staff, it will give them a good idea for what you are looking for.

Bring a good friend/mother/future mother-in-law/etc… with you. Not only will this will make the shopping more enjoyable, but also this person will have an opinion that you value and not just someone that will tell you how great you look regardless. This could really help when deciding on the perfect dress!

Don’t make the mistake of ordering a gown that is “only one size smaller” than your usual size. It’s much cheaper to order the right size, instead of ordering smaller with the promise to yourself that you’ll lose weight before the wedding.

When your gown arrives in the store, check it out at the store. Try the dress on there before you pay for it.

While trying the dress on, view all angles. If there’s something you do not like, be sure to mention it the bridal store staff. More than likely, they will be able to alter and fix the problem.

With all of this in mind, I hope wish you the best of luck in your search for the perfect wedding gown…YOUR perfect gown!
